Icecats advance to the States Semi-Finals with win over Masuk

The Icecats sealed a trip to the States Semi-Finals with a commanding win over Masuk by a score of 7-4. The Icecats will face Northwest Catholic (17-4) on 3/13 at Ingalls Rink at Yale. Game time is 5:30pm.

Icecats defeat Newtown to capture the SWC Championship!
(March 3 2012) The BBD Icecats(2) ended a SWC Championship drought with a decisive victory over Newtown(4) by a score of 5-1. The Icecats extended a lead to 4-0 into the 7 minute mark of the 2nd period when Newtown scored their first goal. The third period added another BBD tally for a 5-1 final. 2011/2012 Bethel Brookfield Danbury Icecats

WELCOME to the HOME of the BBD IceCats! 

The Brookfield, Bethel, Danbury hockey team – better known as the “Ice Cats” are a cooperative high school hockey team competing in the South West Conference.   The Ice Cats play an aggressive varsity schedule and call the Danbury Ice Arena their home.  In 2010 BBD won the DII/DIII SWC Championship and advanced to the State Final.

Icecats advance to the SWC Finals with win over Green Wave

The BBD Icecats(2) insured a trip to the SWC Finals with a 3-0 win over New Milford (3). The SWC Championship will take place at Danbury Ice Arena on March 3rd at 4:00pm. They will face number 4 seed Newtown who defeated number 1 seed Watertown-Pomperaug on Thursday evening by a score of 3-2.

The Icecats start off the year in a positive direction with a decisive Jamboree win. The team swept the series with wins against Joel Barlow (2-0) NFI (1-0) and Newtown (2-0) on December 10th at Danbury Ice Arena.
